Norwegian land-based salmon farmer Salmon Evolution has entered into a binding agreement with Nordea bank regarding debt financing of up to NOK 52 million (€5.2 million/$5.9 million), according to a company press release.
Earlier in the year, the company stated it was in the process of obtaining bank debt financing in relation to its 2021 acquisition of Norwegian smolt producer Kraft Laks. The company acquired 100 percent of the family-owned smolt producer in August.
