Maren Hjorth Bauer, the 36-year-old founder of Fynd Ocean Ventures, says the new oceans-focused fund, which has the backing of investment group Kverva, is taking a more progressive approach.
"We have a slightly more modern mindset than traditional funds," Bauer told IntraFish sister publication Dagens Naeringsliv (DN), where discusses her new marine fund in an in-depth interview.
Sverre Martinser, 36, also a partner in Fynd Ocean Ventures, started the growth fund with Bauer as a way to buy into ocean-focused companies, with the caveat being that the companies must have a sustainable value chain, according to DN.
