Investors are pumping $3.5 million into San Francisco-based Wild Type, a company planning to produce lab-grown salmon for the sushi and lox markets.
The investment, led by Spark Capital, will also fund the development of other lab-grown meats, reports onegreenplanet.com. Other investors include Root Ventures and Mission Bay Capital, the company said in a press release.
