Icelandic fishing company Nesfiskur is in talks to acquire Icelandic Group's Ny-Fiskur operations, which include a production facility in Sandgerdi and a line boat named Von GK-113 with aquota of 800 metric tons, a spokesperson at Nesfiskur told IntraFish.
"We have shown interest, but we are not the only ones wanting to buy, so at this stage we don't know what will happen," he said.
"It is an interesting opportunity for us, but there is nothing solid, just some interest on our side because it is a good business opportunity."
