Norwegian integrated aquaculture group NTS's newly established and part-owned Icelandic salmon farming operation, Ice Fish Farm, raised NOK 301.5 million (€27.6 million/$30.5 million) in a private placement, the company announced on May 27.

A few hours into its share offer on May 26, investor interest already exceeded the number of shares offered for Ice Fish Farm.

The salmon farmer will invest in the expansion of its smolt capacity, new farming equipment and biomass build-up, as well as grow production within its existing licenses.
