Icelandic private equity fund Kjolfesta sold its 30 percent stake in Icelandic fishing firm Oddi to existing majority owners Sigurdur Viggoson and Skjaldur Palmason.

"During these years, the company has strengthened its assets and invested in new equipment in fish processing and fishing," Oddi CEO Palmason said.

"Collaboration with Kjolfesta has been successful and enjoyable, and has moved the company forward in most aspects, however, now it is up to the owners and managers of Oddi to face new challenges and strengthen the company."
