Iceland-listed pension fund Gildi sold its shares in Icelandic whitefish giant Brim, previously known as HB Grandi, to Fisk Seafood, a significant whitefish quota holder in Iceland, the company said in a notification to shareholders.

"It is good when shares in the company are being traded because it is a sign of life," Brim Chairman Kristjan Davidsson told IntraFish. "The board of directors of Brim respect the decision of the pension fund Gildi to sell its shares and it is understandable in the light of recent history."
