Scottish salmon producer Loch Duart's operating profit fell 58 percent year-on-year in 2019, due to gill health problems and a hot summer.
Despite good prices, revenues also dropped 18 percent to £34.6 million (€41 million/$45 million).
The result is a planned step for the realignment of the farming strategy to better suit customer demand and facilitate future growth, despite it being lower than usual, said the company.
