Mowi's senior executives saw their salaries increase in 2019, thanks to a number of additional sources of income, including share-based benefits and other bonuses.
Newly-appointed CEO Ivan Vindheim pocketed nearly €1.4 million ($1.5 million) in total during the year, a 3.7 increase compared to the year prior.
Vindheim, who was formerly CFO, succeeded Alf-Helge Aarskog, who stepped down in November after almost 10 years as CEO. Aarskog took home €1.9 million ($2 million) in 2019 as he bid farewell to his position.
