One of two German shrimp farms in Grevesmühlen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is filing for bankruptcy less than two years after it opened.
Fluxx2 GmbH, which started selling its shrimp under the Cristalle Garnelen brand in August 2015, requested bankruptcy protection at a district court Neubrandenburg, CEO Andreas Kleinselbeck confirmed to IntraFish.
He cited a dispute with business partner York Dyckerhoff as one of the reasons for the filing.
Dyckerhoff, of Green Aqua Farming, was overseeing the production of both facilities, which operated next to each other under a 10-year contract.
