Marseille, France-based seafood distributor Seafoodia -- which used to be known as Seafoodexport -- is acquiring Argis Galac’Sea, a family-owned company based in Lorient, specializing in the import and sales of frozen seafood products.
"This acquisition will help us consolidate our commercial presence on the French market and also to develop our activity," said David Sussmann, president of Seafoodia.
"The integration will take place gradually," he added.
Régis Privé, founder of Argis Galac’Sea, will remain with the company during the transition.
