Fitch Ratings downgraded China Fishery Group's issuer default rating to a "D" from an "RD" on Tuesday, reported Reuters.

The move comes just days after the company and its subsidiaries filed for bankruptcy in a US bankruptcy court.

Fitch said it will "re-examine" China Fishery's credit profile "if it successfully restructures its debt."
