Norwegian bank DNB has NOK 60 billion (€5.7 billion/$7 billion) in loans currently out to the seafood sector, but is not worried about the impact of low salmon prices heading into 2021, and feels the industry has recovered better from the pandemic than perhaps anticipated.

"We were prepared for problems for the seafood industry, but it has gone better than feared," said DNB's Head of Seafood Anne Hvistendahl.
