The third quarter for aquaculture and fishing giant Leroy Seafood Group was a mixed bag, with record-breaking revenue but disappointing earnings as the group was forced to harvest at lower weights.

While the company, which has its hand in both the salmonid aquaculture industry and the wild-whitefish sector, posted a 37 percent increased in earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization to NOK 895 million (€90.2 million/$103.6 million), the result was below expectations.
