Thailand consumers will now have access to some of Japan's best seafood through a deal signed this week between Thai food conglomerate Charoen Pokphand Foods (CP Foods) and Uoriki Co. Japan's No.1 fresh fish retailer, the companies announced Thursday.

CEO of CP Foods Prasit Boondoungprasert said the partnership with Uoriki is in line with the vision of both organizations to help Thai consumers gain access to high-quality fresh fish and seafood supplied under Japanese standards at a more affordable price.
