Danish whitefish and shellfish processor Jeka Fish -- which includes the operations of its sister company Cimbric -- posted a loss last year, mainly caused by collapsing coldwater shrimp prices.

The two companies -- which officially merged on Jan. 1, 2016 -- reported a loss of DKK 414,000 (€55,654/$65,313) in 2016, down from a profit of DKK 1.9 million (€255,415/$299,748) (merged result) in the previous year.
