Boston-based distributor Wulf’s Fish said Wednesday it acquired New England seafood distributor BerkShore to expand the company’s service area into western Massachusetts and surrounding markets.
Both CleanFish and Wulf’s Fish are wholly owned and managed by Sea2050, a seafood-centric holding company founded by Michael Geraty, owner of Wulf's Fish.
Wulf’s has been a supplier of BerkShore for several years.
The acquisition gives customers in the western part of Massachusetts greater access to the full range of premium and specialty products offered by Wulf’s Fish, as well as CleanFish's sustainable seafood items, Wulf’s Fish CEO and President Mike Moniz said.
