Australian kingfish producer Clean Seas Seafood said its profit is set to double in the second half of 2017 due to the strong growth of its fish, reports Finance News Network.

The producer expects its net profit will be between AUD 3.5 million (€2.4 million/$2.6 million) and AUD 4.5 million (€3 million/$3.4 million) for the period, a significant increase from the AUD 1.8 million (€1.2 million/$1.4 million) reported for the same period a year earlier.

In addition, the company said its sales will reach 2,300 metric tons in 2017, up from 2,018 metric tons in 2016.
