Pacific Andes’ Peruvian fishing businesses Corporacion Pesquera Inca (Copeinca) and China Fishery Group (CFG) reported a deeper loss before tax in the year ended Sept. 28 compared with the year before.
The company posted a loss before tax of $54 million (€47.3 million), which is greater than the $38 million (€33.3 million) loss reported a year prior.
The increase was mainly attributable to provision for impairment in relation to property, plant and equipment amounting to $22 million (€19.3 million), the company said.
