Chilean salmon producer Australis Seafoods said it will delist from the Chilean stock exchange.

The company notified stock market regulatory authorities on Thursday following an extraordinary meeting of shareholders.

But Agri-Joyvio, a subsidiary of Joyvio Group, in turn a subsidiary of massive Chinese conglomerate Legend Holdings, announced its $880 million offer for 100 percent of the shares in Australis in November 2018, an investment that was later adjusted to $921.6 million.

The delisting is expected to take place within 30 days of yesterday's meeting.
