Century Pacific posts double-digit sales growth

Filipino tuna canner Century Pacific Food saw its net income jump to PHP 2.16 billion in the first nine months of the year, following a 22 percent jump in revenues to PHP 21 billion, reports Business World Online.

In the third quarter alone, the food canner’s profit soared 42 percent to PHP 798 million.

"Our branded businesses have maintained double-digit growth owing to our various sales and marketing initiatives, coupled with sustained consumer spending," said Oscar A Pobre, CFO at the company.
