Newfoundland-based Daley Seafoods is investing in Canada's Les Pecheries Marinard, a supplier of coldwater shrimp.
Daley Seafoods' investment is focused on the purchase of Les Pecheries Marinard processing plant.
The plant's management team and roughly 150 employees will continue working at the facility.
"Our company believes in using industry leading equipment and that was one of the reasons why we see so much potential in Marinard," said Terry Daley of Daley Seafoods.
