Nomad Foods, parent of Birds Eye, Iglo and Findus frozen food businesses, reported a 4 percent increase in adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) to €123 million ($146 million).
Results were helped by increased market share in some areas in May and June, a recovering foodservice secretive and recent acquisitions, including Findus Switzerland.
The company said it has also managed to keep a lid on inflation despite higher packaging, freight and other logistics costs.
