Bakkafrost raised NOK 3.7 billion (€373.7 million/$407 million) through a private placement of 7,328,709 shares to help fund the acquisition of its stake in The Scottish Salmon Company.
The placement was completed at a subscription price of NOK 500 (€50.50/$55.00) per share, which was determined through an accelerated book-building process.
CEO Regin Jacobsen was allocated 120,000 shares, after which he owns a total of just over 4.6 million shares in the company.
