Land-based salmon farming company Atlantic Sapphire completed the private placement with gross proceeds of around NOK 783 million ($90 million/€80 million).

The US land-based salmon farming startup announced the sale of stock to Norwegian and international private investors May 8.

CEO and Chairman Johan Andreassen was allocated 10,453 shares along with board member Bjørn Vegard Løvik through their jointly owned investment company Alsco, raising its shares of Atlantic Sapphire to 13.2 percent.

The price in the private placement was NOK 92.50
