The share price of land-based salmon producer Atlantic Sapphire saw a solid trading start after its listing on the N-OTC list last week -- somewhat surprising to some industry insiders.

The company listed on Wednesday at NOK 300 (€32.10/$37.20) per share, which is 7.1 percent higher than the issue price of NOK 280 (€30/$34.70).

This comes despite the fact that the company recently reported a mass die-off of fish at its pilot plant in Denmark, which operates under the name Langsand Laks.
