'Asia is coming up fast': $75m ocean fund targets first investment by early 2026

Philanthropy interest for the ocean and impact investing space is growing, a fund executive told IntraFish.

“We want to promote sustainable aquaculture so people can get access to protein sources, and this could be through seaweed farming and smart aquaculture that tackle the issue of food loss,” Katapult Ocean Asia Associate Director Maureen Bresil said.
