Danish feed giant BioMar reported record 2019 earnings thanks to higher volumes sold and strengthened product offerings.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) in 2019 rose 15 percent to DKK 966 million (€129 million/$146 million), due to positive results in all the company's three divisions.

At the same time, sales also increased 8 percent year-on-year to DKK 11.18 billion (€1.4 billion/$1.6 billion), mainly driven by the salmon division.
