The aquaculture division of Agrosuper, parent group of AquaChile, the country's largest salmon farmer, reported steep operating losses in 2020, the result of COVID-related costs and low salmon prices.

The division reported operating loss of CLP billion $27 million (€31.5 million/$37.4 million), but additional costs related to logistics were highlighted as accounting for massive additional negative numbers that added up to a CLP155 billion (€182 million/$217 million) net loss in 2020, according to its annual report.

It's unclear how exactly the company arrived at such a high negative number.
