Genetically modified (GM) salmon producer AquaBounty said Tuesday will begin harvesting its AquAdvantage genetically engineered salmon in the fourth quarter of this year.
“This was a transformative year for AquaBounty, as for the first time in the Company’s history we began to grow-out our AquAdvantage Salmon in the United States," said AquaBounty CEO Sylvia Wulf.
