The Astrakhan, Russia-based Fish Feed company is building a new fish feed plant worth over RUB 1.3 billion (€15.2 million/$16.7 million), according to the press service of Lotos special economic zone.
The new facility is expected to be up and running by the end of this year, with annual production capacity of around 50,000 metric tons of sturgeon and catfish feed, as well as feed for farmed trout, salmon, sea bass and dorado.
