Chilean feed producer Salmofood, owned by Vitapro, has acquired the Quillaipe aquaculture research and development facility from Fundacion Chile for an undisclosed amount.
The center and its business unit, Aquadvise, have helped drive the boom in salmon production in Chile over the past 20 years, mainly in southern Chile.
