Danish fish feed producer Aller Aqua said it is phasing out the use of South American soy as a feed ingredient and will instead focus on sourcing from regional markets.
"In recent years, there has been a lot of focus on soy produced in South America, and the derived effects thereof, such as deforestation and cultivation methods," Aller Aqua Group Vice President Henrik Halken said.
