Denmark-based feed company Aller Aqua said it is now the first aquaculture feed supplier to have its overall carbon footprint labeled and verified by a third-party, the latest sign that emissions will be a critical part of supply-chain transparency in the industry.

The company, which has a capacity of 300,000 metric tons of feed production and DKK 1.4 billion (€188 million/$212 million) in annual sales, is providing detailed emission data from feed manufactured at its three European Union-based factories – in Denmark, Poland, and Germany.
