The seafood industry remains a volatile, fragmented industry, according to DnB Head of Foods and Seafood Anne Hvistendahl, but consolidation will help bring much-needed stability.
Hvistendahl, speaking at the New York City IntraFish Seafood Investment Forum, told attendees she sees expansion, risk reduction and sustainability all driving the industry toward further restructuring.
