Seattle-based Trident Seafoods has moved closer to resuming operations following the COVID-19 outbreak at its Akutan, Alaska, processing plant, it said Friday, with the latest testing results showing no new positive cases at the facility.
Though a date has not been set for the reopening, the a date is "expected to be announced soon with continued due diligence," Trident Seafoods Vice President of Government Relations Stefanie Moreland said.
