Aquaculture infrastructure provider Froy Group confirmed three new cases of COVID-19 on its Gaso Viking wellboat, which is being operated for salmon farmer Leroy Seafood at its Leroy Midt division.
The three infected employees are currently in isolation, while the rest of the crew on the boat has been quarantined.
The crew had been on the vessel for about four weeks and had limited contact with members of the community, so the company considers there to be a low risk of infection.
