This week, Alaska became the first state in the nation to open COVID-19 vaccinations to anyone 16 and older, a positive milestone for the seafood processing sector, but supply of the vaccine remains tight.
The state health department made the vaccine announcement Tuesday, noting that at least a quarter of its population at least partially vaccinated, according to the Anchorage Daily News.
