The city of Unalaska said Friday that the factory trawler Araho, owned by O’Hara Corporation, reported 20 of its 40 crew members tested positive for COVID-19, adding to a growing list of outbreaks among vessels and processors in the region.

“An outbreak has been identified on the F/T Araho with 20 positive cases on board from their crew of 40. Coordination of care and plans for the vessel are being developed,” said the update from the city.

It's the second outbreak on an O'Hara vessel in the past two months.
