Earlier this summer, Knut Hartvig Johannson, chairman of NorgesGruppen -- one of Norway's biggest retail groups -- said he believed there are "natural differences" between men and women, which is why there are almost no women in leadership positions.

His comments, made at a business leadership meeting convened by Norway's Minister of Children and Equality Linda Hofstad Helleland and Industry Minister Torbjorn Roe Isaksen, drew widespread criticism.

To me it is simple: Intelligence is equally distributed between men and women.
