The following letter to the editor was sent to IntraFish by Dick Jones, CEO, Ocean Outcomes, in response to a column by Editor John Fiorillo, entitled Trash talking shrimp company needs a message makeover.

I think it's funny that in this day and age that any seafood company would use mudslinging as its primary marketing tactic.

I spent 14 years in retail, and negative press about seafood, whether a challenge of wild vs farmed or import vs domestic, NEVER turned out well for our category.
