There's no question, the last few months have been terrible for the Chilean salmon industry, and certainly some of the worst in Chilean salmon giant AquaChile's history.

The company posted a $99.4 million loss in 2015, and in the span of just a few months it lost a CEO, a CFO and suffered a $43.3 million (€38.8 million) hit from algae losses.

But the departure last week of AquaChile Chief Commerical Officer and Verlasso Director Gaston Dupre has left what was once the Chilean company's proudest achievements in question.

While
