Say it ain't so, Norway. The world’s largest seafood marketing group, the Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC), after years of scrutiny, is set for a financial hit after the country's fisheries ministry dropped the levy percentage on seafood companies for its marketing activities late last year.
The group is famously well-funded, with a generous NOK 544 million (€59.8 million/$65.3 million) splashed in 2015. In France alone, the group spent NOK 20 million (€2.2 million/$2.4 million).
