Trident Seafoods Corp. launched a new website for its consumers on Wednesday and it "features bold visuals and intuitive navigation tools to make the user experience simple and interactive,” said John Salle, SVP of marketing and innovation.Site visitors can share seafood photos and recipes through social networking on the site, which is built into the homepage. Its retail partners also have a new product locator so consumers will be able to find which retailers to go to more easily.There's also a section for foodservice customers.The website is desktop and mobile friendly and will have new sections: "Story" and "Responsibility.""We hire thousands of employees each year, and the functionality of this new site will streamline our hiring process, simplify application for prospective employees, and lighten the load for our hiring managers," Salle said.
