Land-based salmon farmer Whole Oceans announced Jacob Bartlett is taking on a larger role in the day-to-day operations of the company as Jason Mitchell steps back from his leadership role in the company. Bartlett is CEO of Whole Oceans private equity owner Emergent Holdings.

Bartlett, the CEO of Whole Oceans’ parent company and investment arm, Emergent Holdings, will take the leading role in the permitting and construction phase of the project, the company said. Mitchell remains with the company as president but will have a less visible role during this phase of the project.
