Wester Ross Fisheries acquired the Ardessie Salmon operation on Little Loch Broom, near Dundonnell in Scotland, for an undisclosed sum, reports Press and Journal.
Previously owned by John and Clare Parry, the site employs four people but this is predicted to rise to at least 10 following the deal.
"Over the past 40 years, Wester Ross has grown significantly and our natural approach to salmon farming has generated loyal customers from all over the world," Gilpin Bradley, managing director of Wester Ross, said of the deal.
