'We will soon be done with salmon in Europe': With new yellowtail focus, land-based aquaculture group Nordic Aquafarms Europe turns sights to UK market

Land-based yellowtail farmer Nordic Aquafarms Europe has its eye on the UK market as it ramps up production in Denmark and Norway.

Earlier this year, Nordic Aquafarms split into two divisions, and its European arm, Nordic Aquafarms Europe, decided to focus on yellowtail kingfish, while the US division, Nordic Aquafarms, continued down the salmon path.

While Nordic Aquafarms Europe was no stranger to yellowtail, with ownership of land-based farm Sashimi Royal in Denmark, the split has driven it to implement new strategies and growth plans.
