Land-based producer The Kingfish Company said Thursday it's struggling to keep up with demand for its farmed yellowtail despite a spike in production.

The company produced 395 metric tons of fish the final quarter of the year, a 21 percent increase over the same period last year.

By comparison, sales grew 34 percent to €5 million ($5.4 million) in the fourth quarter, contributing to a 82 percent in annual sales to €18.8 million ($20.3 million).
