Fish farmer Open Blue was featured in PBS series Changing Seas in an episode of "The Future of Seafood" this week. Watch the full video below.
The episode offers a behind the scenes glimpse into Open Blue’s Panama-based mariculture operations, which use submersible SeaStation technology with partner InnovaSea to further examine deep water, open ocean farm sites.
“Growing a new species like cobia has required us to find innovative solutions to fish health and diet requirements,” said Open Blue.
“Seafood Watch has agreed to review the new information we have provided and evaluate its impact on our current ranking.
