Beginning in July, AquaChile's Verlasso salmon will no longer carry the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch "Good Alternative" recommendation, which it has held for nearly seven years.
In the fall of 2013, the Verlasso brand of salmon became the first ocean-farmed salmon to make the Seafood Watch program's "yellow list" as a good alternative.
